Zoom Images in Diashow

Post by HiddenX »

Hi there,

is there a possibility to zoom images (4:3) into the screen (16:9) running a diashow? Currently
There are settings in fullscreenmode (fit in window), but obviously not for the diashow- or did I miss something?

Thx in Advance

Yes.

But this will only make the picture to fit from top to bottom of the screen. Left and right will be black (or whatever background-color is chosen).

What I mean is: My Screen is 16:9. The Pictures are 4:3. So if the slideshow is running there will be a black border at the left and the right.
So it would be great to have an option like "zoom in" that would crop a part of the upper and lower side of the picture but make it fit completely into the 16:9 screen.
Same and even more extreme with pictures taken in portrait-orientation. Displayed in Landscape there will be a huge black border at left and right. Even here I would appreciate the "zoom-in"-Option to display the centre of the picture and fill the entire screen.

I cannot believe that this option really doesn't exist- maybe did I overlook something?

Yes. That also would describe this Option perfectly ;)
