Rotation in browser view

Hello,
rotation of one or more images in browser view doesn't work. The two buttons have no effect at all. In image view the buttons work fine.
(Windows 10 Home, XNViewMP 0.93.1)

the files are not protected
rotation works fine with bmp but not with jpg (in browser mode)

That image as displayed above, if clicked to display full size in a web browser [Chromium] inverts...

both options were activated
If I deactivate the upper option, the rotation works also with jpg
