PNG 16bit are shown too dark (wrong gamma)

Hi,

I have photos wich are 16 bit PNG, but XnView MP show this too dark. Attached an example - image at the right is the PNG and at the left there is a TIF version of the image. Is there a way that the image is right shown?

PS: My attachments are not attached anymore and I don't know how to fix this.
