Batch export category to IPTC

I have put category to my pictures in XnView MP for a long time now. Today I find out that my check box in Settings to export the category to IPTC keywords wasn’t selected. Now it is and if I put new a category in a photo, I see this information in the IPTC information. Is there a tool/batch option to export all the categories from the previous photo’s to the IPTC information? I’m talking about thousands of photo’s so I don’t like t do it manually.

Could you try (make a test) to select some files, and use 'update files from catalog'?
