Right-click on a jpeg in XP click "summary" tab and there are metadata fields. My questions are:
How can I extract this data for each jpeg?
If I have hundreds of images is it possible to "program" this ie. loop and put data in a flat text file?
Thanks very much!

I guess you mean "Right-click", then "Properties", then tab "File info".leegold wrote:Right-click on a jpeg in XP click "summary" tab and there are metadata fields.
You can export info using the "Tools > Generate > File list", here, the basic image infos can be exported. But I assume that you are interested in the EXIF and/or IPTC data. At the moment, these can be exported only by opening each single file and using "Edit > Metadata > Export ...".leegold wrote:My questions are:

Sure enough this is not a solution applicable for hundreds of files. Think you have to use a different program for this at the moment. Perhaps someone can recommend a tool, here.
