Hi,
it could be nice to be able to remove the alpha from PNG like possible at XnView Classic. Missed for editing opened images and for batch converting.

Re: "Remove alpha" missing
Thank you, I found it.
It could be nice to get it as quick accessable entry at the menu like at XnView Classic.
Could it be at the 'change color depth' dialog possible to be able to choose a background color which is used instead the removed alpha?
Best regards,
Micha

Right, I have overseen it. Sorry.
The grey frame around let me thought it's disabled like the options above.

Re: "Remove alpha" missing
I tried to use the function today and found that it doesn't work as in XnView Classic.
In XnView Classic I'm able to open and PNG at XnView, disable the transparency per Ctrl+H and choose "remove alpha channel" from the image menu. The transparency is removed but the background image is kept and not replaced by a solid color as in XnView MP now.
This function is one of the most important functions in XnView Classic for me, since Photoshop doesn't support this functionality. Please bring back the old easy to access menu entry and functionality.

Workaround:
- The Plugin Site: PhotoFreebies → Remove Transparency (PFRemTrans.8bf)
“This filter without dialog turns transparent layer areas to either a fully opaque background color or it restores deleted layer areas (depends on host application's mask settings and options).”
