Permanently Removing the Previous and Next File Icons from Toolbar

Hi all,
Im trying to permanently remove the two afore mentioned icons from the toolbar. I am able to remove it temporarily from the Tools-Options- Interface-Toolbar View Menu however when I close the application and reopen it, the buttons come back.
Im trying to find a way to permanently remove. Great application.

If you remove them in options>Toolbar>Buttons, at next startup buttons will not be added

Thanks for the reply. that worked. Any way to disable the Page down key stroke from going to the next file within the folder?
