Why does xnview launch IE when you create a webpage, even though you have a different (better) browser set as your default browser?

XP home edition here. When I tried the webpage feature in xnview, it launched IE even though I have k-meleon set as default. I went into folder options and made certain that KM was set as default for all HTM/L files and related protocols, then tried again and got the same result. Not only that, but zonealarm gave me a warning saying that xnview was trying to open IE, which gives me the distinct impression that xnview was trying to launch IE specifically, not just the default browser, or the HTML file.

EDIT: Now it's launching k-meleon, as it should. I don't know why it's suddenly working properly.
*shrug* Oh well, probably something on my end. At least it's working correctly now.
