Attempting to resize settings window freezes XnViewMP

I've got XnViewMP installed on an oldish laptop with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080.

When in the settings dialog, the ok button is down below the edge of the screen.

Attempting to drag the window so the OK button can be seen results in it snapping back. Occasionally, the mouse pointer will "slip" off the edge of the window when attempting to move/resize, and then the window will scroll down out of sight. Once done XnViewMP must be closed from Taskmanager as it's effectively hung.
