How to update keywords in IPTC header?

Hi there,

I am extensively using Categories. I often revise my categories, for example fixing occasional typos or rename them for more clarity.

I accidentally noticed that the IPTC contains keywords which are no longer part of the categories tree. These keywords were once part of the category tree, but later they got renamed. Still, the photo header shows the old one.

Is there a way to make xnview update the IPTC headers with the actually selected Categories? Remove the ones which are no longer in the Category tree and add the ones which are?

I see, thank you.

This might be problematic for some professionals, who upload their pictures to stock photo sites, because those sites do strict keyword checks (I worked for a professional photographer about 10 years ago, that's how I got hooked on keywording). So if the reviewer finds bad keywords, the photos might not be accepted.

As I'm not a professional, I'm completely OK how it works now.
