Hi again,
I have another category-issue.
I have 29 different pictures, once identically tagged in Picasa with "LL Exhibition".
XnView discovers after hours (!) 24 pictures and marks them with the category "LL Exhibition".
Taking a closer view I notice, that 9 of these 24 pictures appear twice, so actually only 14 pictures are correctly marked.
But why do nine pictures appear twice, even though they do not exist twice?
In the information below the picture I found one difference. The Harddisk-letter is written in a capital letter or in a low case letter (please find two attachments).
Is there an option to solve this?
I appreciate your support, thank you!

Re: Bug? hard disk drive letter
Just by opening XnView and using it as picture viewer. I was told that I had nothing to do and that XnView would automatically assign categories.
I actually did nothing.

Hi Pierre,
thank you so much for your message. Sorry for the delay, very busy days.
I´d like to send you three files, but they seem to be too large. Is there another address I could us (I guess it only makes sense if I send you the original files)?
Best,
Eva

Re: Bug? hard disk drive letter
You could upload them to a file hosting service and provide the link, or more easily if they are within email size limits, send them directly to Pierre at the contact address on the XnView home page.evaxnview wrote: Tue Jan 28, 2020 5:48 pm I´d like to send you three files, but they seem to be too large.
