Converting animated webp to gif?

I've been using XnConvert 1.83 on Mac OS Sierra to convert webp images, and it works perfectly for most, but I can't get it to work for animated images. They show up as a blank file and when trying to convert, I get the message "0x0x0 : not a picture" in the status pane. Is this not supported or is there a trick I need to try to get it to work?

If it's not supported, this would be a fantastic addition in the future! I'd be so glad to not have to rely on online converters anymore.
