Hello,
I have a requirement to join more than one PNG image together horizontally, and the Join images feature in XnView MP is almost perfect - but I'm unable to select a transparent background. Left untouched, the images are joined with a white strip.
Both images in the given example have a transparent background.

i've just tried with your sample file, and no problem, output image has alpha channel
