Hi There:
I'm sure this is possible, but I don't how to do it. I have a Sony A7RIII and a couple of the lenses I have are manual - a Laowa 12mm rectilinear, for example. As such, no lens information is recorded during exposure. What I'm looking for is a way to manually edit the EXIF information for those images and add in the lens information. I don't necessarily need to worry about focus distance, f/stop, etc, but having the lens information is one more way to sort images. If I have a number of images with blank lens information there's no way to separate them. I got as far as Edit IPTX/XMP but I'm not sure where to go from there.
Any assistance appreciated.
Mike.

Re: EXIF Tool
The swiss knife for metadata management is https://exiftool.org/. there is also a GUI named exiftoolGui but it only uses a few possibilities of the CLI. A lot of apps are based upon it.
You can also try https://www.exiv2.org/
For help, I think you can find dedicated forums.
