XnV (1.80.3) apparently has unresolved issues with MOV files
OS: WXP SP2
I just posted on another thread about XnV seizing when attempting to play MOV files that Quicktime and IrfanView play just fine.
NOW I find that I am unable to either batch, or individually, rename *.MOV files. I can rename JPGs.
No. They are not RO/Sys/Hid, or locked by another process.
Get a little "Unable to Rename File" ErrMsgBox when I attempt to rename them.
Sadly, the problems with the QT files will make XnV of no more use to me than any programs I already use. This is too bad, as it seemed so promising.
If there is a work-around or a fix for these two QT issues (failure to play, failure to rename) please drop me a line.
Thanks

Quicktime MOV - Err: Unable rename
Tao is not digital ...
I am using QuickTime Alternative 1.48 what is uses old QuickTime 6.X components and it works perfectly. I haven't tried the latest 1.61 version what uses 7.0.2.120 components, so might be so that the new 7.x versions don't work in XnView
panzerfaust what QuickTime version you are using?
