GPS data duplicate photo

Hello all,

when I add GPS datas with XnViewMP (0.95) the programm create a new photo with the GPS data. At this moment is all fine. But the new file with GPS datas have a smaller size then the original. (For my opinion the file size should be greater )
May be it is possible to add an option "don't duplicate file befor add GPS datas" or something like this? (So that no copies of a file will be created.)

Not always even if compressed image data are not modified

May be it is possible to add an option "don't duplicate file befor add GPS datas" or something like this? (So that no copies of a file will be created.)
