OSX jpg companion file bug

Hi,

On macOS Mojave 10.14.6, using XnView MP 0.95 64 bit to browse photos on both the case-insensitive main file system and on a NFS share, jpg companion files are not hidden even if set in the settings. However .xmp companion files are hidden correctly.

Settings
The settings selected under Settings > Browser > File list are:

Companion files list: default as set after installation, ie:
first line is: {raw} | {ext}.xmp;xmp;jpg
last line is: jpg | {ext}.xmp;xmp;exf

Checkboxes under this section:
(not checked) Show companion files
(checked) Companions files linked for delete action
(checked) Companions files linked for copy/move/rename action

Note: the same settings work as expected on Windows 10, hiding .jpg files.

Steps to reproduce

See software version above.
Fails to hide jpg companion file, and correctly hides .xmp companion files for both:

a) DSC05569.arw DSC05569.jpg DSC05569.xmp

b) DSC05571.ARW DSC05571.JPG DSC05571.xmp

Note: file system is case insensitive, but somehow still remembers the case of file names displayed.
