Slow loading preview

Hi,

I've just started using XnView. It seems great. One little thing that gets me is that I can't seem to turn off the full size preview at the bottom of the screen, and it seems to want to load any image I click on which means that the program freezes until it loads the picture. Most of my images are large RAW files so it takes a good few seconds for any picture I click on to load.

I would be happy to turn the preview off and simply be left with the thumbs if thats maybe possible???

Try to toggle Menu>View>Preview (off)

That's a quickfix.
(but i would prefer: A. no freeze; B. faster RAW loading)

that works well. Cheers. It's better than the big time delay. But it would be useful if a preview could be left on without the big freeze. Perhaps in updates?.....

It's a problem, RAW loading in full size is very long, i can't speed this process..
