Converting to black and white

I cannot find a feature to convert image to B&W using just 2 colors (i.e. black and white). Is it possible to make true B&W images with XnView? Thanks in advance (it can be very lame question though) :?

In Viewer mode, use menu "Image->Convert to binary"

I can't find the menu item 'convert to binary' in XN View MP. How do I convert an image to B&W?

In the viewer, Image > Change color depth...

Image -- Adjust -- Shadow/Highlight -- sliding the highlight all the way to 100% seem to do the trick for me. Hope this helps.

In viewer mode - Image -- Map -- Negative
