The images I have are 5184x3888 .jpg. They show fine in Thumbnail Size 192x144 but if I change it to 384x288 the windows size increases but the image size does not, so all I get is more white space. I've used Xnview for quite a while, and I don't remember this always happening, so when I last upgraded I must have messed something up. I tried changing the View Options for Thumbnails, but nothing fixed it. What do I need to change ?

it seems that you use embedded thumbnail, do you use 'Options>Thumbnails>Create thumbnails from original'?
