Avoid ESC closing images (DONE)

Is there a way to disable closing of images via ESC? I run into this problem too often

No, this doesn't work there. The image (tab) always gets closed on ESC no matter which setting I choose for this option.

I have this problem!
The shortcut for CLOSE TAB is CTRL F4, yet Esc closes tabs!!!
