Sigma X3F magenta cast

Post by JohnVee »

All my X3F (Raw) files have a magenta cast when viewed with XnView. Is this common to other users of this format? This does not occur when used with other programs that can display/manipulate these files.

Could you send me a sample, please?

Hello Pierre,

I noticed also color casts with the x3f Sigma SD9 Raw format.
It seems to me that the plugin doesn't recognize the white balance which is also written as meta tag to the raw format (don't know if that's right).

Also it would be nice if you could develop colormanagement and handling of icc/icm profiles e.g. by using liblcms (http://www.littlecms.com/), please?

I will send you two screenshots, one of a photo made with day light (blueish in xnview) and a second made with a 3000K color temperature photo lamp (yellowish in xnview).

I used xnview 1.70.3 for Windows XP

Kind regards
