XNView not writing keywords from category sets

Hi, I'm suddenly realising that Keywords and category sets are two very different things. I love the category sets panel and I have just started investigating it properly. I show off all my images on Flickr and so I need not only the keywords written as keywords to output files but also the categories so that those categories are searchable within Flickr. Is this possible? When I assign categories and export those categories are not in the metadata any more. Is there a way to get XNView to assign categories as keywords on export as, otherwise, categories aren't really much use for me. I see the worth of categories but if they don't remain searchable on output I would have to just use keywords which is a more cumbersome way togo.

Now I'm even more confused. I just added another random category from the category sets and the Keywords and categories tab of the info palette does not reflect this. Please see the attached screenshot. Is there any documentation that shows clearly the difference between Categories and Keywords and how to use them and the limitations of each? If I assign a keyword in Alien Skin Exposure it appears in XNView as both a keyword AND a category. I want to be able to add items in XNView to a category and have that be assigned as a keyword too. Is this possible? I just want my output JPGS for Flickr to have the categories assigned be searchable in Flickr. Does that make sense?

Aha! Export DB Category... wasn't checked. That must be it, right? Thanks!
