Tool Tips are displaying   when no HTML formatting Tag is present

Effect: Tool Tips are displaying   when no HTML formatting Tag is present

To reproduce:
1. Insert any variable to be displayed in tooltips, but leave out any HTML formatting tags
2. Hover mouse over photo in browser to display tooltip

Actual behaviour (bug): Display shows   instead of spaces

Expected behaviour: Spaces should show instead of  

Fairly sure this is related to the 0.96 bug relating to garbled characters in fullscreen view.
