Batch Convert .PDD files to JPEG

I have at least 1000 ".PDD" photo files (Adobe Photo Deluxe programme )that I want to batch convert to JPEG so I can open them easily. ( I can open them in Adobe Photoshop but can only seem to convert to JPEG one at a time)
I have downloaded XnView 0.96 and worked out how to use the Batch Convert tool but although it converts the images to JPEG there is no picture showing. Instead it shows a black background with the words "Photoshop 3.0 is required to open this file"
Any Ideas?

the picture is in the 2nd page of PDD, so try with 'convert all page from multipage files'
