Automatic crop in Advanced Operations, Cancel vs. Close

Post by TimV »

I would like to see Automatic crop in the Advanced Operations for batch convert jobs. Also, in the "Multiple File Convert" window: Can the 'Cancel' button be changed to 'Ok' when a user clicks on 'Go'? I think that will make the button more clear.

Perhaps it would be better if it changed from 'Cancel' to 'Done'.

Automatic crop has been missing for a long time, now. It's a good functionality for batch conversion, so it really should be added, soon.

I think 'Close' would be the correct and appropriate labeling. But I wonder whether renaming the button makes things clearer.
The real problem is that there is one dialog for various work flows. An assistant/wizard with buttons 'Cancel / Previous / Next / Finish' would make things much clearer.

'Close' sounds good.

It feels a bit weird that I have to click Cancel after I have performed a batch conversion, since the Cancel button does not cancel what I have already done. Renaming it to Close would take away that confusion for me at least. ;-)

Perhaps you're right, but I'm not really a fan of wizards, dunno exactly why. I often disable them and activate a classic interface if available.

'Close' or 'Done' are OK for me. Think one second more, 'Close' seems better.

I feel the same thing.

If there is some wizard, I want some way to use the good and old classic interface, where I can do everything in only one dialog. :)
