Files batch process in reverse order

Post by mwXnView »

Hi, I shoot photos of my daughters softball games. I use XnView to batch process rename, size, etc. Everything works great, but the last picture of the game is saved as picture #1. What option do I need to adjust/click so that the first picture of the game is also numbered as such? Thank you for the help!

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried a couple of things separately based on your suggestion, but the last photo of the list still saved as pic #1 each time.

1. in XnView: selected the photos for batch convert, clicked the "Modified Date" menu heading to sort the images in reverse order

2. in XnView batch convert dialog box: checked "Keep folder structure" option

If neither of these action are what you meant by "sort the files" can you explain in a different way? Where are you suggesting I sort the files? What is the process to do so?

Regards,
Matt

Click on 'modified date' before to select files
