Yes, I tried it several times. Also I have a feeling that this command doesn't work like it should. Because when I select this menu item nothing happens. The thumbnails of the current folder stand still. But If I get it right they should blink and the current folder should be reread. Am I right?
The only way to actually rebuild the thumbnails of the current folder is to change it to some other in the browser, go to the Settings, delete this folder from the catalog database and then select it again, now the thumbnails are actually reread.
But it doesn't help, they are again rendered opaque.
If you want I can make a video of my actions.
Also you said that thumbnails use thumbnail list view background color, is it possible to change it? I can't find such an option in the Settings, there's the thumbnail cell background color but it's grey not white as a background of my thumbnails.

Re: Browser not showing transparent png files correctly
Hello,
thank you, the problem seems to be gone in the reference directory from my previous post and some other folders, but in some another particular directories with png's it isn't. Could it be because of different png's? All of them were processed via TinyPNG, I attached the archive. I rebuilt the thumbnails and deleted these particular directories from the Catalog database but it didn't help.

Also I want to ask about "Rebuild thumbnails" menu item: is it normal that I don't see any changes when I select it in the menu? I mean thumbnails in the current folder stand still, and nothing visually happens. But when I delete the folder from the Catalog database (from Settings) and choose it again in the browser it does be reread and I see disk activity.
