For all I know, most applications won't notice whether they are run on a 32 bit Windows XP or on a 64 bit Windows XP.

Could you please provide more info? What exactly does not work? Is there an error message?

I can´t confirm, iam use XP64 Final(Build 3790 SP1) und XnView works fine.
