Choosing which folders XnView can access

I have just set up XnviewMP on my computer. It seems to be able to access all the folders in my computer.

I only want to use XnviewMP to catalogue and manipulate my Photos, so how can I set it up to only access my photos folder(s)?

I don't use the browser functions much but looking at Tools > Settings > Browser -- Catalog there is an Excluded/Included tab which I suspect can be set up to do what you need.
