apple problem - can't open XNview
Hi - new here. Apple just updated my MacBook pro to Mac OS Big Sure 11.1 because my older version would not work with application downloaded. Downloaded 64 bit software from site and now get message "XnView MP.app" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This sofewarend need to be updated. Contact the developer" Can someone help with this please. Only reason I put in new OS was to run this program?

do you have checked Preferences / Security & Privacy / General / Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere?
