I once had this exactly the way I wanted thumbnails using only a solid black background+blue file name text. That is all I want to see in thumbnail view.
But I had to clean install and have lost how I got to the above look. I only want the thumbnail image view+blue file name+ solid black background.
Would you please remind me how to delete all text, except file name, and change background to black?

Re: Altering the bowser window w thumbnail view
The problem w this application is that altering the interface is such a complex hidden process that I cannot remember where all the check boxes and color changing choices are. For instance, a day ago I was successful in changing the file name color to Blue. Today, I cannot find where I changed this color. I have no idea how I did it.
XnviewMP needs to improve the ability to change the interface as one finds preferable. I am a visual learner. I can't stand all the shades of gray and various colors of file types.

I am still searching for where I changed the color of the file name. I can't find it anymore.
I also want to change the gray background to black. Does anyone know how to change this color.

Hi, thanks again for responding. I realize that I must SELECT the word FILENAME to change the color of the text.
