Unable to view animated png files

Up until recently, I've been able to view animated png files. However, it's now telling me that it can't load the file. What happened?

This is supposed to be fixed in v0.99.1.

Well whatever happened, it didn't fix my issue. I wonder what could be happening?

there is an error with this file, you can enable 'Settings>Formats>Read - Ignore errors'

Reading it from the application gives me a KIO error. However, it is able to read it if I open it from my file explorer into XnView.
