How do i completly disable folders thumbnails?

In the browser menu, View > View as enables Icons, List or Details to be selected as alternatives to thumbnails...

You want files thumbnails but not folder thumbnails...
Sorry, I shouldn't try to answer browser questions as I only use it in a very limited way, someone else will be able to help if you are unable to find the way.
