[Solved!] SVG Read With rsvg-convert

I tried to use rsvg-convert, mainly by following the article at viewtopic.php?f=35&t=34003

Today (Nov 2021), there is a newer version of the rsvg-convert version 2.40.20, so to compare:

• version 2.40.20 -> contain rsvg-convert.exe with file size about 2.95 Megabytes

• version rsvg-convert-dll-2.40.16 -> contain many .dll files, and the rsvg-convert.exe file size about 21.5 Kilobytes

Which one to use? I tried both, and it still not working in XnView Classic version 2.50 (Apr 28 2021), the warning dialog appear with message:

Code: Select all

"Format of the file <... .svg> could not be determined"

But, I already checked the option here:

Code: Select all

Options > General > (Tab) Operations -> "Display all image file types"

Also, should I add .svg in "File List"? But I don't understand why there are "duplicates" "Custom files (*) in:

Code: Select all

Options > File List > (Tab) File List

Thanks. rsvg-convert.exe copied in XnView Classic\Plugins folder.
(updated to latest XnView-win-full portable version today)

I noticed the cmd dialog very quickly open and show message like: "multiple SVG..." although I only open one .svg file

Edit: It was not "spaces", it was ntfs file permission. I can't really figured it out, tried everything, icacls command etc., but end up just recreate a fresh path with the same path name like before

Hi, just for update to my issue. I think i found the problem, it was the path where XnView Classic located. The path can't contain a space character. I hope this get support in the future update because for me renaming my path sometimes not that easy. Thanks
