rebuild thumbnails with cache disabled

Hello Piere,

I use XnViewMP 0.99.4 on a Windows 10 system.

In settings dialog tab Catalog the checkbox "Enable thumbnail caching" is disabled.
After pressing button "rebuild thumbnails" XnViewMP starts to rebuild.
But for me it does not make sense to start, because the (database-)cache is disabled.
Or is it a misunderstanding on my side?

Thanks to your detailed description I can reproduce the problem.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.99.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
