Batch renaming error

I had this program (XnView not MP) on my desktop machine (windows 10) and it worked fine. I just got a laptop (windows 11) and downloaded MP and classic and I am having the same problem on both of them. I'm trying to batch rename and keep getting this.

are you able to rename a file (not in batch rename)?
