Moving/hiding the overview thumbnail when zooming.

When zooming, the reduced size image overview covers the lower-right corner of the zoomed image, obscuring content and making tool use in the region impossible. Is it possible to hide or move this thumbnail overview? I've been digging around in the wiki, forums and beginner's guide, but haven't found any information about this (nor even the proper name for the overview thumbnail).

The setting you want I think is probably Tools > Settings... > View -- Show pan tool, which I don't use either.

Worth checking out Tools > Settings... there are a lot of settings...
