Calc with text for person identification

Hi

I have many family pictures with many people on them.

I am looking to find an easy way to have a kind of layer associate with the picture on which i can add text with the name of the persons.
With one button we can view the layer or not and be able to identify quickly the persons.
Do you have already a solution ? if not a project of addon ?
