Help information/explanation on various functions

i cannot find any information or explanations on how each of the different functions/actions work.

some might be somewhat obvious, but many need explanation about just how they work/what they do

there is basically no information there.
where is a simple Manual & Glossary with some simple explanation of all the various actions & settings?
