you can use {EXIF:x10B} (x10B is the tag number of what you want)
xnview_mp_wiki wrote:You can set an EXIF field by using his tag value, eg. {EXIF:x110}
In the Wiki for XnView MP and in an old post the notation {EXIF:x10B} is used for placeholders for EXIF data. For me this notation for place holders doesn't work at all - neither in batch renaming nor in thumbnail labels. Are placeholder for EXIF data in this notation really supported by XnView MP v1.00? Is there a trick?
I tried a few examples
For thumbnail labels, these are working for me :
{EXIF:x010F} displays exif Manufacturer
{EXIF:x110} displays exif Model
{EXIF:x112} displays exif orientation
but with {EXIF:x10B} i can't see anything
It seems that the values that works are the same as the ones we can get in available fields ?
Thank you for your replies, Pierre and Michael. Do the placeholders really work in image info? If yes, could this notation for placeholders also be made available for thumbnail labels and renaming? (I can't see a reason why placeholders work in a specific scenario, only.)

it's works in image info and Batch rename
O.k., good to know. Could this notation also be added to thumbnail labels? It's non-intuitive and looks and feels buggy if things work in one context but don't in another context.
