IPTC-Categories are not displayed

I have tagged photos in XNView Classic (V 2.51.0) with keywords and categories.

Below the thumbnails in the text fields only the keywords are displayed but not the categories. The categories are also ignored by other programs.

(Note: Stichwörter = keywords)

What do I have to do so that the categories are also displayed in the XnView preview?

I also checked the behavior on my tablet. Same result, i.e. the categories are not displayed.

you need to add 'IPTC:Supplemental categories'

Thank you for the quick feedback. With "Supplement category" it works.

As a non-expert, I don't know the difference between "category" and "supplement category". So it's a bit confusing for me that I have to enter the tags in the "Category" tab but retrieve them in the thumbnails as "Supplement Category".

Does it make sense to change the label of the tab in the input menu from "Categories" to "Supplement Category"?, see attached foto
