I am am working with xnview mp 1.3 on Ubuntu 22.04. (and before on older versions of xnview mp an Ubuntu)
My options are set to move deleted files to trash, i.e. recycle pin.
But when I look and search there, I can't find any of the files deleted before with xnview mp.
Am I making a mistake, are additional adjustments necessary or is thin a bug?
Can somebody help me?

Re: Ubuntu: Trash not found
I didn't know that difference, but in the ubuntu manuals for version 20.04 I found:
"gvfs-trash has been deprecated and it is redirected to gio trash"
So as I am on version 22.04 (Gnome) I surely have gio trash.

Re: Ubuntu: Trash not found
I have to apologize
I now found the files I deleted in XnView MP in the Ubuntu trash.
Thanks for your answer.
