What is this "people" used for?

I thought it used for the "face tag".

I have some images with 'face tag', but they do not show in the "people".


and the "show people's region" in viewer mode, is it should show the region in face tag? If so, it's not working either.

XnViewMP can read face tags already created by other softwares
Tools>Settings>Metadada>Import XMP Face tag
Tools>Settings>Catalog> Import folders

Or XnviewMP can define face regions
Go to Add Ons page viewtopic.php?p=146764#p146764 , select face tags link , and download the AddOn

Sart xnviewmp, select a photo in the browser Tools>Face tag ....

I had already defined face regions by using Face tag tool to those pictures.
But the "People" is still empty.

Well, I turned on "import XMP face tag", the problem is fixed.

Well, I use face tag tool clear the region then Add region again, the "show people's region" is working now.
