how to open a file with photoshop
Hi all,
I do a lot of editing in photoshop so while browsing in xnview, if i like to open the file with photoshop i have 2 options
1.- right click and select open with photoshop
2.- click Alt + 1
3. drag and drop
I try to find a way of open the file with photoshop more direct, like creating a comand in the toolbar.
there is a comand to open with associated program editor.
Is there a way i can configurate xnview to change the associated program editor to photoshop instaid of the default one?
Maybe I can change that association in windows xp ?
or any other ideas are wellcome
many thanks in advance for reading

Re: how to open a file with photoshop
thanks Xntricq for your reply,
I did search the forum before i open the a new post, but didnt find the solution i was looking for. even in this suggestions post you had made.
Never the less i found the solution. Basically the fastest way to open a file in photoshop is using the commands buttons, as you just need a single click.
The command to use will be "cmd_ShellEdit" which is open with the default editor. In the my case in windows will be paint.
The way to change that in windows is change the registry or using a single fast application which need no instalattion just run it. Here you have a link where explain both things and include the downloading link.

thanks

You're not using XnView Classic but XnView MP.

I would like to change the icon of the software when it's open/active. I checked out the address you linked and changed the icon but it doesn't reflect.
