*.* file mask in directory browser field

Hello,

It would be great if one could use the standard *? file mask in the directory field to select the files to be displayed in the browser.

At present (1.80.3) only *.* is possible, so one cannot display a subset of photos by name/number/extension.

Small but useful feature IMHO.
