1.3.1 File can't be loaded!

Post by XNViewMPUser »

XnView: MP 1.3.1 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 64bit

When trying to open gif file, error message received is "File can't be loaded!"

Effect: File can't be loaded!

To reproduce:
1. Do not be in a work environment.
2. Save the file located at "view-source:https://celebjihad.com/celeb-jihad/php/jennifer_aniston_nude_masturbation.gif" (NSFW!)
3. Attempt to open the saved .gif file.

Actual behaviour (bug): File can't be loaded!

Expected behaviour: File can be loaded!

on the other hand, it looks like XnView does not determine file's content by signature, only by extension
once ext changed back to .mp4 XnView can play file with no issues
