WebP association + Layout

Post by falcon »

1. Associaciated WebP opens only last directory instead of image.

What should be:
1. Set default associaction of .webp to xnviewmp.
2. Open image
3. You can view image.

What happens:
1. Set default associaction of .webp to xnviewmp.
2. Open image
3. Opens last directory instead of image

How to mitigate:
1. Open xnviewmp
2. Copy folder path
3. Open image.

It's very old bug. Seen it for last 2y.
Disabling "Open browser at startup" with "Directory: last" will open nice empty image: https://i.imgur.com/WYP65RG.png
Only webP affected.
jpg, png, gif behaves normally. Haven't checked another rares

2. Layout problems. Bumping my old report.
When using multiple monitors and switching xnviewmp window to another monitor always breaks layout.
So mostly I use "Restore layout" everytime I switch monitor, window size or similar :<
Moreover, restoring layout sticks it to main monitor, not current active. Maybe it's feature but you can't make the same layout on another monitor or should create additional layouts for every monitor (3 in my case)

New demo: https://gfycat.com/FrigidFaroffEstuarinecrocodile

Looking for any fix or any additional option for that. There are too many cases when you need to switch xnview to another monitor :<

You need to check the registry entry for .webp

It's a known issue when you have the 3 columns layout
