Problems after upgrading to MacOs Ventura 13.1

Post by nucine »

I upgraded to MacOS Ventura yesterday. Since then when I modify a photo something goes wrong in XnView. For example, if I view it in XnView and then edit it in photoshop, after saving it in photoshop, XnView doesn't recognize the changes. It continues to show the photo without the changes. Even after closing and reopening XnView. It's very strange.

Another problem: I change the name of a photo, inside or outside of XnView, from that moment it cannot be displayed in XnView. It doesn't preview and the thumbnail stays black. If I put the previous name again, it will be seen again. This also happens after the update to Ventura 13.1.

XnView MP MacOSX
Version 1.4.0 64bits (Dec 13 2022)
Libformat version 7.132

I think the problem is not in XnView.
The problem must be that the mac update (Ventura 13) is giving problems with exFat external drives, and they are the drives I'm using.
I have done some tests with images on the desktop and there have been no problems.
