animated gif: bug?

Post by Alessandro »

Hi,

I was able to load animated gif files but I've found out that some gif has broken frames looking like there're corrupt P frames:

for what I can see it's like if frames following the first one are smaller than it and the canvas isn't cleaned properly so ghosts (dirt) remain in the background.

I dunno if this is a bug but if it is I think you should be able to find such files or, if you want, tell me where I've to send one of 'em and I'll do it as soon as possible.

Best regards.

P.S.: is it possible attach small images in this forum?
P.P.S.: had I to use my previous post for this one? (just as reference for future...)

Yes you can extract all frame from an animated gif, but this is the final frame. Perhaps a good option to reconstruct them
